Good transportation is a key factor for an unforgettable holiday. Magical Isle Holidays offers a range of comfortable and reliable modes of transport to all holiday makers, ensuring safety and satisfaction.

Our selected group of drivers for the cars, vans and jeeps are highly experienced, having worked in the Sri Lankan tourism industry for many years. Most of our drivers are licensed Chauffeur Guides, some are fluent in other languages such as German, Italian, French, Arabic, Swedish etc.

We arrange all types of ground and air transfers available within Sri Lanka, at the most competitive rates. We will suggest the best mode of transportation for each of our clients considering the size of the group, budget and other tour specific requirements.

Given below are the available options:

Private car - Private cars are suitable for tours of up to 2 adults but if insisted by you we are happy to offer a car for a family with two adults and one child (below 12 years), if you are not carrying too much luggage. All cars we have are sedans that air-conditioned, comfortable and spacious. Almost all cars are Japanese cars. We have a selected group of very good quality English speaking, licensed chauffeur guides and drivers. We also have experienced chauffeur guides fluent in other languages such as German, French, Swedish and Italian.

Luxury car - Luxury cars are available for both tours and point to point transfers at a higher price than private cars. More comfortable and spacious new Japanese cars are used for round tours and top of the range new European cars such as Peugeot and Benz cars are used only for point to point transfers for luxury travelers, on request.

4WD Jeep and SUV - 4WD Jeeps and SUVs are available for both tours and point to point transfers for families and groups up to four persons. The transportation cost would be higher for these vehicles than a private car and would be arranged on request for luxury holidays and special interest tours.

Mini van - Mini vans comfortably carry up to five adults or a family of six including children with luggage and generally used for families or groups consisting of three to six members. We have a very good selected group of English speaking chauffeur guides and drivers for the mini vans. These vans are also used for tours with National Guide plus a driver for non- English speaking clients, especially for Russian, Japanese, Italian and French speaking clients. All mini vans we use are very comfortable and includes dual air-conditioning. Most of them are with high roofs and are very spacious.


Mini coach - Mini coaches are used for tours and transfers for small groups of between 7 to 14 persons including luggage. The group will always be accompanied by English or other language specking National Guide along with the driver and the helper of the coach. All mini coaches we use are air-conditioned and are very comfortable. The drivers are all professional coach drivers with a high level of experience.


Large coach - Large coaches are used for tours and transfers for larger groups of between 14 to 26 persons including luggage. These coaches could carry up to 40 persons without luggage, in which case a separate luggage van has to be arranged to transfer the luggage from point to point. The group will always be accompanied by English or other language specking National Guide along with the driver and the helper of the coach. All large coaches we use are air-conditioned, spacious and are very comfortable. The drivers are all professional coach drivers with a high level of experience.
